It features fully simulated realistic space combat. Although in the singleplayer campaign the player is only able to pilot a SA-23C "Aurora" Starfury Fighter, they have access to a wider arsenal of fighters which they can pilot while testing their skills vs the challenging AI or in multiplayer skirmishes. The game also offers a limited CO-OP mode. For those who wish to go a step further, the file archive also offers a mission editor with a coding guide which they can use to make their own missions. I have a unique situation, I'm pretty sure because most people react like they've never seen a 4-joystick controller. anyway, I have a 4 joystick controller, and I've been practicing it in 6dof games, it works great in Starmade, which also allows me to "minecraft up" some courses to fly through.

b5ifh, however, has a workaround for the problem of not enough axis to control 6dof, where when using the joystick, rotation and "slider" axis won't work at the same time, even though I've mapped them to separate axis. In my case, I have more than enough axis, but even though I've mapped them to separate axis, I still have to toggle between the two modes, which disables one set of controls or the other.

basically, I'm hoping to have a way to set the controls so that I don't need to toggle, and all controls are available simultaneously.

by the way, I love my 4stick controller, it's brilliant and intuitive, and I'd love to share the build for anyone interested. (it's a simple arduino setup, codes all taken from a github contributor, nothing to do but config).
