Apologies for the silence, we hadn't really made much progress to disclose to the public. I've got a quick update: Jeff has now been removed from the ALWAYS HUNTING series.
The main reason for the change is that we are trying to further distance ourselves from Creepypasta so that we can put more focus on our own characters, plus The Employer looks like Slender Man and it might be confusing to people if they see someone referred to as Jeff the Killer with a very similar appearance to the one they know and then look at The Employer, told it isn't Slender Man even though it shares some similar traits.
At this point, all's said that needs to be said.

Jeff the Killer has been removed to further separate the ALWAYS HUNTING series from Creepypasta.

Didn't all Creepypasta characters get scrapped earlier?
The others did, yeah. I was planning to have my own version of Jeff, but decided with the team about a month or two ago that he wasn't really necessary. Got a few crazy characters already.
