In the light and thunder from grandees of the Fist World War, a young soldier negotiates the wet trenches. He is alone, yet through the thick haze of mustard gas he sees the shadows move. Ammunition has almost run out and fatigue is distorting his perception. The soldier tries to find a friendly soul in the river of blood and mud. This is when the real threat appears. A pack of dinosaurs break through the frontline! Grab what you can and head for the nearest ladder. The battlefield above will bring you and escape from the prehistoric threat – but at what cost?
NOTICE:
This game is set in trenches in Germany, therefore it was decided to keep the feel, that the language in the game is German. The language selection between Danish and English in the beginning, is ONLY for the controls. The letters scattered around in the trenches are only bonuses and adds to the feel and ambiance of the game, take a look at them if you understand German or not, because they might hold self-explanatory drawings to aid you in the game.
Take a look at all the nominated games at NGIN:
NGIN wrote: The premise here is fantastic: you’re a German soldier in WW1, but – oh shit – dinosaurs have invaded the trenches, and now you have to escape. This easily could have been cheesy, but somehow the development team managed to strike a balance between sorrow, fear, and hilarity. It’s delightfully ambiguous as to whether you should laugh at the game or take its premise seriously. Our jury was struck by the beautiful black-and-white world (again, as campy as it is creepy) and the inversion of the typical “shoot-first” FPS gameplay.

I didn't beat the game, but here's my video anyway.
Incredibly fun and fast paced game play. I loved every second of survival.
My favorite horror game ever (or untill SCP Unity comes out). I love how the dinosaurs aren't cheesy and instead create fear in a unique way.
Wow this game is scary! Got a lot of tension to the atmosphere!
I recorded a video for 1916:
