No superhero team is complete without a base of operations. In this dev diary we’re going to look at HyperLeague Headquarters and its facilities that will take your team from rookie fighters to elite warriors.
Fusion Chamber
HyperLeague HQ’s fusion chamber allows you to combine heroes into a super-powered hybrid. You’ll choose two champions, champion 2 will transfer a portion of their stats to champion 1 but will be sacrificed along the way, so think carefully before fusing. In addition to stat boosting, fusion lets you transfer abilities between heroes and some combinations even give access to rare characters.
Upgrade Center
From the upgrade center you can use your building materials to take your battling, recruiting, and looting to the next level. Each upgrade gives your team a unique bonus, such as an increased loot drop rate or allowing you to recruit more heroes to your squad. In total, 20 upgrades will be available in HyperLeague Heroes version 1.0. Upgrade boosts revert over time so be sure to maintain a steady supply of materials to keep your base at peak levels.
Training Dojo
The training dojo lets you instantly raise the levels of your heroes. A single training session can boost a champion’s level by a maximum of 4 and you’re given 3 sessions every few hours. This means that you can gain up to 12 levels in only a couple of minutes, which is significantly quicker than leveling in dungeons, so use your training sessions wisely.
Wanderer's Wares
Wanderer’s Wares offers various items that will undoubtedly come in handy during your expeditions, including potions, grenades, crafting materials, and super rare resurrection gems. The shop’s inventory changes every half hour so check back often to see what’s new.
