it worked but now everythings been smoothly except.... custom textures i made are off, i used a 16 x 17 pxl for each block since i measured the other blocks that are in game and they are 16 x 17 pixel but its off.. hm
The tiles are 16x16 not 16x17. Your tiles are a hair to big. You will need to correct this for it to work properly.
Only the characters in-game can be made taller and (slightly) wider.

But if you are using assets from the Sample Game, please read the 2.24Z.pdf user manual for the developer's guidelines.
You must use the Editor for the creation of games which you can sell commercially.
You CANNOT sell the Editor, which has been made FREE by the original Japanese developers.
hmmm... i want to ask something. i have a game made by this software. but, i cant change the key mapping inside the game. so... my question is. can i change the key mapping directly with this software by load the game file to this software?
Yes you can, but it will depend on which version of WRPGE was used in the game's creation.
If it was made for 2.10, we have tools here that can extract the game files and you can import them into WRPGE English 2.10D.
Games made with version 2.24 and later, there so far is no easy way to extract the files (I don't know how, must be a difference in coding). So if your game files are for version 2.24 and have the ".wolf" extension, you might as well forget it.
But if you indeed extract the game files and bring them into WRPGE, it will probably take you a while to find the area for your key mapping.
If you are trying to switch your Movement keys, I think you can only use the Arrow keys or Numpad.
But you should be able to change the keys for the Confirm/Cancel/Sub.
And if playing with a keyboard is not your thing (and if the game permits it), you can use a game controller instead. I know wired (not charge cable) Xbox 360 controllers work for me.

Hello, I want to translate a game in Japanese from a finished English translation, but the Spanish characters do not display well. I tried changing the 2-Byte Character Language options and it didn't work, same changing the font. What can I do so that the game shows the characters in Spanish? Thanks

I've got a problem here. The thing is, I'm trying to use wolf rpg as an emulator, but every time I try to play a game made by this engine it says that it cannot locate basic system data. How am I supposed to solve this and run games normally?
Have you tried extracting the game files with the Arc Converter?

You can use this to extract files from any .wolf files for the WOLF RPG Editor. After extracting the files, please put the original .wolf files in a safe location outside of the WRPGE folder. Then remove the ".wolf~" or ".wolf" from the names of the extracted files. If you did everything correctly, it should work. Arc Converter usually works, but sometimes it will not extract files that are from a later version of WRPGE.
And if this is not the case, are you trying to run WRPGE on a non-Windows OS?

Aside from possible adding of files, the WOLF RPG Editor 2.24Z is quite set with its content.
I have retired from the translation work and simply try to answer questions that are WRPGE related.
There are newer versions of WRPGE but they have not been translated from their original Japanese language.
I have been getting messages that *hint* someone is attempting to translate the later versions using mine and vgperson's English translation of the WRPGE. But whether or when they'll release the translation, I do not know. What they are translating is not necessarily the Editor but rather a Language dll file that the original Japanese developer provided for anyone interested in translating the WRPGE.

But you should check with the original Japanese developer first, especially if they have a system already setup.

Actually, I want to translate a game, but I need to change its font to make it display text properly. However, after I save Game Settings I keep running into Runtime Error, even if I don't change anything. Do you know how to fix this error or what do I do wrong?
Nevermind, it's just me being stupid. I used an exe file of an older version, when I should have used a higher one, namely the third.
