Alternative download locations:
HL2 Export Alpha 0.3 ( .tar.bz2 )
HL2 Export Alpha 0.3 ( .zip )
This is Alpha version after all. It should work without problems but you never know. You are welcome to give me feedback.
Important
This version of the script requires Blender3D Version 2.44 to run. Lower version will not work as new features have been introduced as well as the API changed a lot.
this is cool... finally we have a blender tool chain for nexuiz and warsow.
you may want to visit alientrap forums they have a slightly updated version
Found the post. The changes are though incorrect. Theses changes will break exporting for HL2 since it requires those peculiarities. Please label the exporter with your modifications as "Nexuiz SMD" or "Warsow SMD" since they will not work for HL2.
FAQ entry:
Q: I got the error, Non-Ascii character 'xfc' on line 6 but no encoding declared.
A: A known problem happening with new Python Interpreters. They changed the rules for text encoding which causes this problem because of my family name in the comments. Can be fixed by adding the following line as the second line in the script ( right under #!BPY ):
# coding: utf8
The file should then look like this at the beginning
#!BPY
# coding: utf8
Is the download safe?
