Nice, it's great that you're doing NPC assets as well, will be really helpful for eventual AC3-based/themed missions. Though this one looks a bit too clean, I'd apply a bit of a weathering.

Tbh it does have weathering in the specular map, but since the plane is all white (or light grey) it's almost unnoticeable.
Yeah, guess it's VT's lighting engine.
By the way, an idea! How about making a refueler version? As far as I remember, it looked identical to this one, just with a refueling rod.
