Rather than use textures, often materials are used for models Here is a list of some. Note: Just set the material name and make sure your export options have material checked rather than img etc. (NOTE: make sure to uvunwrap anyway: otherwise the surface will have extreme black/white gloss and shade performance)

red --The color red. (no gloss etc)

black --The color black. (no gloss etc)

brass --A (dark) brass/bronzeish color, good for tacks

copper --Copper



mac10-gunmetal --Quintessential Gun Reciever material

mac10-flat --A dark grey / blackish non-descript matte material. Sometimes used for grips

mac10-grip --Colormapped Diamond grip texture

mac10-gunmetalgrey --Dark grey / blackish metal but not quite as dark as mac10-gunmetal

mac10-gunmetalmedgrey --Medium grey metal

mac10-gunmetaltan --Tan metal


henryriflebrass --Quintessential old western gun reciever brass.


sportsterchrome --Shiny metal, like chrome. Used for the very edges of weapons often, or the blade-face if one wants them to shine
