Congratulations to all the winners of the Phase 3 part of the MSU contest, you guys certainly have raised the bar for Phase 4! Good luck if you are entering again! Oh and make sure you check out all the finalists and honorable mentions from Phase 3 as well!
Can't agree more with the selections. Nice work guys.
I have no ill will against this selection. Great job by all involved in the competition.
Good Job to all the mods that competed! I look forward to testing out a few of these.
Let's see some more of these on moddb ;D
Congratz teams!
Well I think everyone deseves the preverbial pat on the back for a job well done.
Gratz on everyone :D
The Haunted dominated
Congrats RuneStorm and the other winners!
Congrats to all winners!
The news summary has a typo :/ "Did 'you' favourite get picked?" (your)
Moddb needs spell check...
That's assuming my spelling was incorrect which it wasn't ;) thanks for pointing it out though.
Great selection. A variety of great mods there. The ball is my favorite.
nice work guys
good selection. thumbs up
I don't know what's going on at all. What're these phases and categories stuff? Who's going to win 1.000.000 $ ? How many phases are there? Did it end? Who's the winner? It's been long time since this started.
There are four (4) phases. This was the winners of the third phase. The fourth and last real phase has a deadline at 31st of august. After that there will be a grand finale from all the submission from all previous phases (if I'm not mistaken). And the 1mill just means that there are at least 1 million dollars + hardware prizes in total. So none will be winning that amount for themselves. For more information you can check out the contest website at www.makesomethingunreal.com
If any of these facts are untrue, feel most free to correct me.
The Haunted freaking rules. Wish it came out as a retail product with more maps, weapons etc
If they win the contest completely there is a chance this will become a actual retail game. :D
"The top 12 entrants from round four will be picked to enter the final judging round for the $1 million dollar prize and a contract with Epic Game." <---- see that, a contract with Epic. How effing cool is that!?
Imo, these guys are the most qualified to win. They have made one of the best mods I've ever seen, no doubt.
From what I've read and heard, this above quote isn't true in the fact that no specific person or team will win 1 Million Dollars, it's just the total sum of all prizes. So I'm still guessing the prizes range from $500 to $50,000.
There will however possibly be a license for the engine given out.
