I sure do wish you'd put a tutorial up on how you do the material/shading effects in Airborn. I'm looking for a similar effect for the art in the game I'm working on.
well all i did was reading NPR techpapers, i'm not a shader pro these were my first shaders, so it's all pretty simple stuff, the tf2 shading was the base, i optimized it and removed parts i didn't need and added stuff like the cross hatches, maybe we will remove them as they don't work too good in motion, the outline is already gone, we'll see
how do i fix the bug "lighting needs to be rebuilt"?
wow never saw this, and didn#t look much here - its not a bug, its a feature ;) you need to bake your lights, as it says :)
