Because of legal issues surrounding Penumbra Birth we will sadly have to close development on the remake. However there is good news! We are working on a game called excavation with all the same game mechanics as a penumbra game would have so if you like penumbra you will definitely enjoy excavation. For once, I'm glad to see that instead of whining about that CnD, someone turn their project into something else. Best of luck to you guys!
I find it very strange that Frictional Games or the publishers of their games would go out of their way to send you a CnD letter to stop this game, unless you where asking for money, where you? Specially when they are very friendly to mods and never stoped development of Penumbra Necrologue and the other fan made Penumbras. Thinking about it, perhaps was because this game was being made on a non HPL engine and doesn't require the user to have at lest one FG game, something that all the other fan made penumbras do. But i'm glad that you will not give up and remake this.
