A devlog going over the update with a brand new mechanic!

As always, this update is live now and can be played for free in browser at Isochronalgames.itch.io. Updates like this will be coming out every week, so please follow if you're interested in seeing future updates!

A whole new mechanic added this week, at the moment only available through the shop - Stickers

-There are seven stickers in the game right, although you'll only see two at a time in the shop

-When you buy a sticker, you'll be presented with an option to choose what tick it will overwrite - for the rest of that run that card will have that sticker on it.

-As with all tick changes, this persists through duplications so you can make some very powerful combos!

-You may have noticed I said there were seven and only showed six above - I wanted to highlight the Breakpoint tick, which makes any card into an interruptible one!

I think the Stickers have the potential to open up a lot of unique strategies, and the way I coded them any card could theoretically be used as a Sticker. When I got back to adding more Trinkets I think that will be very useful, allowing for things like a trinket that lets you apply a card as a Sticker on a different card!

I have a lot of ideas for ways to remix your cards like that, which I think is a real strength of the timeline structure. I think it could be a really unique aspect of this game as it comes closer to completion!

In development - Some improvements to the preview system, with death predictions and targeting that takes into account when enemies will move or die. It should also somehow indicate when an action will be prevented by a stun or a interruption
