A new update with a new fight containing 4 distinct enemies!

Posted by on

As always, this update is live now and can be played for free in browser at Isochronalgames.itch.io Updates like this will be coming out every week, so please follow if you're interested in seeing future updates!

Back to the new fights along with a new shop option this week!

-The new shop option is duplicate card, which allows you to duplicate a card in your deck. If you've removed ticks from a card, those changes will stick, making this a powerful way to duplicate your already upgraded cards

-Added some movement to enemies, making them rotate back and forth

-Allowed timelines to overlap, with the moused over one coming to the front

-Added a new fight with four distinct enemies, the Tron Team!

Four enemies is the most in any fight so far, and even with the three in the Riptears fight I was running out of screen real estate on some resolutions. I anticipate this being a recurring issue - there's a lot of information to display and only limited space to do so. However, I'm happy with this solution for now and I will resolve these issues as they come up.

The 4 Trons are:

Sitting at the front, Shieldtron guards its allies with Erect Shield and runs down enemies with its Overrun attack.

In the second position, Stabtron deals chip damage with its Blitz of Stabs and increases everyone else (and its own!) damage with the Feinting Stab.

Second from the back, Blastron hits the back line with its Lobbed Blast and stuns everyone with Overload Cannon. Save an AOE to interrupt that stun or you'll be a sitting duck.

Hovering at the back, the Fixtron performs regular Maintenance on its allies and spends the rest of its time dipping and dodging to soak up backline attacks

With their low HP the trons are very weak to AOE attacks, but it's easy to get overwhelmed by all the effects coming at you.

In development - I am working on the boss of the robot fights, and a few new cards using the new mechanics I added with this update. So check back next week if you're interested in that!
