well played the game a bit now and I enjoy playing it. Still unsure of hwo the match is scored whether it's knock all your opponents out at once or score based. I figure either way the more enemies you knocked out the better the outcome. :P

I think the main thing is I was very unsure of most things, a lot of things I had to figure out for myself. A tutorial for the Demo version might be nice, still unsure if the alpha version contains this feature. Wasnt able to figure out the campaign option at all.

Otherwise I really like the combat mechanics and had a ball using the various skills. I like how you have to actually score kills inorder to increase your skill level and some skills can pass through multiple targets or aoe so turtling in a corner isnt an option. It's really good for tactical thinkers. Graphics look nice too, particularly like the style because it conveys robots and their abilities well. Eg I knew when the bow like robot came out i was dealing with a ranged unit, medical bot repairs, knight bot is tanky and so on.

True, I mean I was pretty upset when I heard there wasnt a GC3, sure i wasnt the only one. If he has permission then I would imagine it's ok considering he's got company permission to use their franchise. but lack of any information stating so lead me to believe otherwise.

Skmskm, I know you've been quiet on the matter (understandibly considering the senstitive nature of the matter), but perhaps you can clear this up now for us and tell us more over your approach on the galciv2/uniciv crossover?

sorry, cant agree with you here. this isnt inspired the menus are exactly the same layout as the ones you see in galciv2. Only difference is the textures.

Inspired is one thing, appropriation is quite another. Especially when you bring copyright law into it.
