Basically any Xinput controller would work, namely the Xbox 360 controller. This is because of the restriction placed by their use of a new controller input system to allow 8 players. At some point in the future they said they would make it so other controllers would be allowed I believe.

When it's done it will be. It isn't yet.

Can't in that version, unfortunately. The addin they used for controller mapping didn't support 8 players, so they are looking into other solutions for now. There will be control changing eventually, just be patient.

Well, you'll likely be waiting forever. The earlier versions are still pretty fun so you could just play those I guess.

It's on Steam. It costs money from hereforth, it was $15 the first week it was out but it's up to $20 now which is full price.

The sandbox and street levels were likely taken out for a couple reasons. Sandbox is gone because that was more of their little testing area and less of a level (but probably just included for the lulz). Street is gone because with the new system they are using the AI got messed up, so they need to fix that. Not sure why tutorial is gone, though.

You should have looked into it more before assuming there was single player.

Why on earth would they make it free? They aren't making it to be super generous and make everybody happy out of their own expense. I mean, sure, they most likely WANT everyone to be happy with the finished product (including themselves), but they need to get money to actually finish the game. Making it free would just mean that the game would likely never update again.

You can't in the new version. It was a workaround so they could do 8 player since the old system only supported 4.

There's no online multiplayer at this point in time, but the devs said they would add it at some point in the future.

Maybe the coming soon list isn't up to date? Or maybe, like pretty much everyone else in the world, the Gang Beasts devs are procrastinating that part xD

The next update to Gang Beasts will add 8 player support, but it looks more like this is a question on the program you are using for your PS3 controllers. Ask the people who make that program instead.

According to the updates, yes.

They will likely add it in the future, but it is a lot of work. Expect it eventually, but not yet.

You can set it to use keyboard in the controls menu in game, but I recommend any kind of gamepad that you can connect to the computer. The default controller is the Xbox 360 controller (you need a wired one or a receiver dongle). You can also use basically any other controller as long as you can connect it to your PC.

That sounds AWESOME. Just from reading it, I can imagine what you do is you grab them while crouching somehow and then when you spring back up you let go at the right time to launch them a bit. Or you grab them while standing, crouch down, and when you spring back up you launch them forward a little. Or physics happens and people go flying because reasons.

C'mon guys. It's 12 days until release. Can we PLEASE get a price? I won't be able to get more steam monies after the 27th so I gotta get the money together soon.

The current version is free, but the next version will cost money. The price isn't set yet, but I couldn't really imagine it being more than $20 for the next version.

Well, that's fine then. I just hope we get a price a few days before release date so that I'm able to actually get the steam card and stuff before I head back to college :P
