Hello again :)

I have been playing this game again recently and really like what's going on. The amount of customisation is actually very surprising and I didn't notice a lot of these features before. I've found for best experience play on size 400, random arena (X is my favourite, I'm surprised the district-per-segment idea has never been used in canon), difficulty 2 with deafness on.

The ally system has been greatly improved. It is glorious when you are able to call allies out of the Bloodbath for example. However I've encountered a couple niggling problems. Usually when I get offered an alliance at the beginning of the Games, their partner will still attack me regardless. I've also had similar problems when making alliances with two different tributes who attack each other. Sometimes it makes things interesting, but I feel that all tributes in an alliance with another specific tribute should still see each other as allies even if they were enemies previously. Maybe there could be a "lesser ally" system, where enemy tributes who become allies remain most likely to turn each other if they had issues before.

One more minor issue I'm having is that I find that tributes don't seem to acknowledge feasts. This occurs mostly on maps with a size over 400, as they seem to spread out more. On maps over 1000 in size, I've found many tributes die of starvation even with the feast event active. The first aid kits don't constitute food but perhaps there could be some way of including first aid kits as a secondary option for tributes who are starving if this would bring them back to Cornucopia.

One thing I was wondering is how I can name and edit a set of tributes, say from a fan fiction, all at once. I know how to edit single tributes by switching to them, but it takes a turn every time you switch from one to another.

All in all, just want to say you've done an amazing job continuing to make this game, and the changes have been great!

Hi λpone.
I installed the mod and find it crashes every time on the cutscene where Pearce kills himself, (literally right before he shoots himself, after he says "like my dad always said..."). I have tried virtually everything (run compatibility mode, reinstall mod and game, leave squad behind, kill squad, start game again) to fix it and it is still not working as it comes up with "exe not responding". When I try and skip it by clicking on the level selector, it comes up with "missing walkerEntitySpawner". I try hitting enter and then the level starts but my character is moving at warp speed.
Also note to anyone that the game seems to only work in Windows 7 or lower, I will try to get up to the part where Pearce kills himself on Windows XP version (starting from scratch, as it does not have my other saves), if that works I'll let you know.
Anyway, I really like this mod and appreciate the effort you have put in. It's a shame the released game on Xbox was not worth playing more than like two times through (because of all the scripted moments, like wtf).

Hi. Will the mod randomise who is infected, so that a second playthrough around will not have the same person a thing?

:) - Continued
3) I like the idea that someone had of having a way for you to see the fallen tributes in the sky when the night comes, like in the book and movie.

4) I had this idea of having a sort of Extreme mode, where you cannot see the white text at the top telling what's happening (except what is happening to you). Also, no tribute status bar or timeline. Anytime a tribute dies, a cannon goes off, so you don't know who is still alive. Combine that with idea 2 & 3 and you'll have yourself some very interesting gameplay.

I just had a few more ideas I thought I would share:
1) Tributes should say different things when you talk to them, etc. For example, if you gave an item to District 2 Boy in an attempt to make an alliance, he should say something like "You're not such a weakling after all" or "Thanks, loser". But if you gave an item to a weaker outlying district's tribute, they would say "Thanks so much, I thought you were going to attack me" or "Hey, we'd make a pretty good team".

2) There should be different game lengths, such as short, medium and long:
Short - Game lasts roughly 150-400 turns, the need for food is increased, and the day/night cycle happens faster to compensate for short gameplay. All tributes don't retreat or scatter and stay nearby the cornucopia in a fight to the death. This should be for quick action-based games where there is no real need to survive.
Medium - Game lasts roughly 600-1000 turns, the need for food is average, and the day/night cycle happens a bit faster than regularly. Average tribute actions such as retreating during fights (so that they don't all get killed on day 1) and making long lasting alliances, although I would recommend having feasts at round 900 or so to pull the tributes back to the start, so they don't wander too far away and make the game long.
Long - Game lasts 1000-3000 turns, the need for food is average, and the day/night cycle happens a slower or as it should. Tributes frequently do actions such as retreating during fights (so that they don't all get killed on day 1) and making long lasting alliances, although I would recommend having feasts at round 2000 or so to pull the tributes back to the start, so they don't wander too far away and make the game longer than long. The ultimate survivalists experience guaranteed!

The new screenshots look fantastic. The map with a circular arena with the mountains surrounding. Probably the most exciting map as I could use the mountains as a vantage point to scout out the rest of the tributes near the cornucopia and take an opportunity to raid. Very good!

Wow Cruiser, this looks great! Are there any differences in A.I or district attributes since last time I talked to you?

Yeah please do so and I'll get this right away.

I thought it would add a like storyline, you in a room being forced to walked to the podium before it fades to black, but it could be skipped, like the intro in SCP: Containment Breach.

It would be a great excuse to make a tutorial, for new players, and just to see who your competition will be... Also good for a multiplayer lobby. :)

I know I have mentioned this before, but this games needs a single-player mode with NPCs. They could vary in strength, speed, and dexterity (like attributes) depending on their district or house. The NPCs would basically act like real tributes.

There could also be like a reaping, not quite a copy of The Hunger Games, nor a cutscene, but like you walking to the podium. (and if you don't you get shot)

There could also be a training room where you train and build your attributes, and receive a training score as well as seeing everyone else's.

So, are their NPC's or is this an online game? Or both? I think a spontaneous online/offline game would work well.

Wow, that's pretty neat! It's a feature I was anticipating for a while. It's also great to see new arenas, enhancing the lasting appeal of the game.

Hi there FNGamesAlex,
This is one of the more better prospected Hunger Games Games I have seen online so far. What graphics engine are you using to make this and when do you think a full version is ready to release? :0... Also will this be a free or payed game?

Like the edition of the 24 hour binary clock. Everything coming soon seems very necessary for a Hunger Games Game.

Hey Cruiser, it's me from the Hunger Games Wiki. (The anonymous guy)
It's great to see 2.5 released right before the movie like you said. :) Are their any A.I enhancements in this version?
