VANISH

Game review

This game gave me the chills like no other. The only other games that could compare would be Slender and The Curse of Blackwater. The fact that you can't see 10 ft in front of you, not knowing what lurks in the shadows makes the atmosphere perfect. The notes on the walls add to the suspense. But what really made me sweat was the sounds and the fact that no matter where you go, the map is randomly generated and changes constantly; so you never have a sense of where you're at. The deeper you go into the game, the more suspenseful it becomes. I'd highly recommend it. The only downside is you can never tell where you're at. Even if you walk in a straight line for say 30 ft and turn around to go back the way you came, it changes to a completely new map layout. So often I'd find myself back at the entrance. So that gets frustrating when you're desperately trying to avoid the creatures that lurk down in the sewers with you. Other than that, the atmosphere and the game is well done. The last thing you need to have happen is get trapped in a dead end with one of the monsters creeping behind you...and that happens..a lot haha
