Men, let me tell you that Hacknet is an AWESOME GAME! One of the best i've played; the sistems really make you feel like a real hacker and the ideas of the story; the missions and all that is very good; a really awesome work!

I. Liked. Hacknet. As. Hell !!!
I think that this game is The Game... but yeah as in the credits you said, it's not completed yet.
I really don't know what kind of scripting languages are involved in this game, as a matter of fact I learnt C++ and visual C#, and as ex-Uplink player I could give some ideas.
I know that I should study first OO programming and things that I don't know, but I want to try anyways.

Thanks! Glad you liked the game! Thanks for the offer to help, but I think i've got it covered myself for now, but i'll let you know if I decided to open source it. The current build has set it up so people can add their own missions and computers into the game, which could be neat to see.
I'm also a linux user, btw.
Can you port HackNet on linux ?
