No, I haven't seen if they've added the features yet or not. True. And I probably won't get to because I don't plan on donating to a cause without some type of proof. However, if I were a game designer, and I was implementing those great features- in order to sell the game or get some income coming in, the first thing I'd do is release a video or some screen shots of the work that I've done. I'd blast it everywhere I could. I would be excited to show it. I would get the fans excited. However what they've shown leads me to question the integrity of the game as a whole. IMHO it looks like BC1 with a few new models and textures. That's it. I already have BC on my desktop as I speak.

Don't get me wrong, I've backed a lot of games up. Games like Carmageddon Reincarnation, Spin Tires, and Space Engineers- but the difference is, is when I get onto their page -BAM- the proof is right there in my face and I get excited, I want to buy.

They're asking for 50 dollar donations (Almost the price of a AAA title) to get into the closed alpha, stating the CBS and the Star Trek affiliates have gave their game the "go ahead"? What they have so far is BC1 with the KM mod, and a few newly modeled ships and stations. Many of the textures and models are EXACTLY the same as in BC1. Including the scripted ship movements. Yes, if they can implement those features, good on them. But from what they've shown so far, they're no where near completing any of those things.

Personally I think its much too early to start asking for donations to get into an alpha game without any of the major listed features. I'd much rather give donations to Excalibur because I can see their progress, and what they've been doing. Their videos, screenshots, and logs all show the growth of the game. However I am unable to donate to them because its under the Star Trek name. Hm... go figure.

Hey guys- just downloaded everything and all I can say is WOW! You guys did a GREAT job and I'd be more than happy to do anything (including donate) to help this mod work. This is by far my favorite movie since I was a child and the detail that you have all put in is simply amazing. I didn't think that you could do all those things you guys put in there (IE refilling Mr. Fusion or the Plutonium*, and having the exhaust vents steam) but you did and it makes me want to help and learn how to do things like that. I hope its near completion and I can't wait to see it in action. I'm a HUGE detail fan so please don't wimp out on me! Include ALL the scenes and areas you see in the movie, and ALL the areas that marty explorers. (Like the phone booth in the dinner- I know its pointless but I'd LOVE to explore it!) The dance, the school! Anyways thanks- this is a kickass mod and I'm more than willing to jump on this bandwagon.
