Though I didn't take too much interest o your mod. The focus of DF is mining, farming and these things, not combat strategy. Removing all the complexity of DF may be good for starter players of it, but I will be just here waiting for Project Earth. ^^

You scenery is very good, but there is too much lightning in all the shots... If the game's intent is to cause fear, light showing ugly monsters won't do good.

Make special game modes where youo play with the "strange things", so who don't want it,won't have to play with it, but who wants, can play.

take care about the range and vision of the archers. The range should only be augmented if they're firing at somewhere that is lower than where they are. =P
