I love FPSC games, I really do. They are generally scarier, darker, more depressing, and just better in the horror category. But I find that I'm having a harder time trusting them. For one thing, they always seem to crash, and are upsetting in themselves, because they are pretty much unplayable. Don't get me wrong, Euthanasia was a great game! I just hated that I could never complete the second level, because the game would always crash at the same part. Darkness Evolved was good too, but again, it crashes at the same part each time. And Undergrounds was good, but was insanely hard and constantly crashing.
I don't know whether or not to trust the engine, because I know it all too well for crashing. I want to play an FPSC game that doesn't crash for once. And the patches never seem to work either. Any time you get a patch for one of those games, it never works. I feel that I can't play anything that was made with the FPSC engine, because no matter how fun it is, it will always crash.
And I'm wondering if it's just me, or if FPSC games just crash. I don't want to constantly try to play something that is known for crashing, and I am wondering if anyone else has this same problem. Am I alone in this one? Or do FPSC games just crash? I must know.
