What else could I possibly rate this? You would have to be a cynical *******, hate horror, or hate first person shooters to not give this game such a rating. This game has far exceeded my expectations for FPSC content. It has an excellent atmosphere, the freakiest looking creatures that appear at unpredictable intervals, great voice acting, and amazing weapons. Not only that, but the game is very realistic and perfectly matches the genre of survival horror (I don't know if it's survival horror, or just horror in general. You are already dead when you start the game, so that wouldn't exactly be survival horror now would it?)

The game has a great backstory and would be even better with a cutscene at the beginning of the game.

Perfect game. Absolutely stunning. It is the most horrifying first person shooter I have ever played. It has great weapons, great bosses, stunning atmosphere, shockingly absurd and freakish monsters, and a Resident Evil style inventory management system. I love how you have to constantly check your inventory to see if you need to drop something to pick something else up. It made me need to look for a reassuring shoulder to cry on. I needed an experience like this to really spice my life up. This is no ordinary game, it's more of an experience. You don't play Cry of Fear, you EXPERIENCE it. This is a must play game by all, and if I could rate this a 1,000,000,000,000,000 out of 10, I definitely would.

Not too shabby. The thing that really digs at me though is the title. Project X is the name of a party movie. I don't know if this came first, but if it didn't, then don't name a horror game after a party movie. I like the atmosphere the most. It's dark, creepy, and maybe a bit horrifying. The monsters, I don't really get. They seem like they are from Halo for some reason. But as long as they can come growling and screaming out of nowhere, I am willing to get over it.

Good game with extreme potential. The only thing that makes it not so horrifying is the fact that you have a partner. True horror is when you are the only one alive.

I like it. A lot. It's a good game with lots of potential, but the only real problem I had with it was the voice acting for the zombies. It needs to sound like violent growls and not weakness. And the voices for the zombies were too common. You need about 10 different voices for the zombies and make them look just a tad bit more disfigured. Ever played Euthanasia? You should, you can learn something from it. I hope you can make a new and creepier version, but for now, do some work on the voice acting.

I had horribly misunderstood the purpose of this game. I didn't see it as scary, but when the creator tells me it's supposed to be confusing, I get it.
