I am extremely happy :)

2 new comments, wow!
Also me, realizing those are spam:
:(
Great!
Also great seing my own game among the top-100 :)
So i have posted an article just a day before the IndieDB of the year vote started. Unlucky me :(
If you are reading this - please vote ;)
Smh i get no notifications for comments :(
Thank you very very much for staying with me for so long! I am working hard on this game:)
The game is around 80% complete now. I hope to release it somewhere in Q1 2021 now (coronavirus played it's dirty trick with my only pixel artist).
Hello there, fellow indie developer. People here are not a talking lot (mainly because of a bit obscure commenting mechanism and most of visitors are guests/not logged in), so don't expect feedback and lively stuff.
On the other hand many many people do watch through the games here (and go to it's Steam page, if they like it).
If you want to get some visibility here, i can recommend you:
Firstly - devblog articles, when authorized they appear on the front page. Always include at least 5 art pieces (screens, gifs, videos).
Nextly - upload new videos/images from time to time (you can embed them to your articles later), not as a heap load.
Lastly - you can try to make a forum post about your game in a corresponding sub section. Beware - lots of people with broken dream shed their tears there. Also it's not as effective as the two points above, you can skip it if you don't like to socialize a lot.
And don't repost/reupload already used art/articles - AFAIK IndiDB has automated system against such abuse.
Thanks a lot for a positive reply, mate :)
Wishlist on Steam now! ▶️https://store.steampowered.com/app/1080680/Cold_Shell/
Thank you mate :)
About the demo - in fact, I'm now working entirely on the new demo. Hopefully i will summ up an article on first boss update soon, then (maybe in a month) i will make a new demo version and upload it here.
Demo will have (i mean stuff already developed and in game) updated art, some new gameplay features, and updated boss battle.
Thank you a lot for following me this far mate! Glad to hear from you!
Lots of stuff happened - i've lost an artist, found a new one, visited DevGAMM conference in Belarus.. That's to scratch the surface :)
I am updating the visuals and adding shiny new gameplay features for several months now :)
Cheers :)
Thank you for the kind words :D
I'm putting lots of effort into combat gameplay and cyberpunk~ish atmosphere. As for junked cars - well i have limits of possible resources, please bear with me :)
I'm doing the code stuff, tweeting and posting articles here on IndieDB. My mate is working on art. We are doing it off hours, after full time work days.
Yes, in fact it's too active :)
I've had time to tweet about things going on, but I'm only starting to have time for an article. Got enough material for 2 articles as for now.
A cute cat does an awesome job to soften a brutal bloody game a bit :)
Thank you again for expressing support - it means a lot to me :)
Thanks:) I put a lot of effort into it. My main target platform is Steam (PC, MacOS, mb Linux - had problems with it before). It will be a paid game. Somewhere between 5$ and 10$ - depending on my confidence in it :)
Not afraid of them at all. I've talked with many indie devs and like 95% struggle to bring even their own ideas together. Also, Construct is not as popular as Unity for example. So the chance that someone will copy a part of my ****** code is way too low to bother :)
Thank you, mate :)
Subscription sucks, but Scirra has to make money. I've got a 50% discount as a C2 owner on Steam (not sure if that event is still running).
If you hesitate on C3 i suggest you to wait for the new C3 runtime (lots of improvements in it). If you have a C2 project (with no 3d party plugins) you can convert it to C3 easy and fast (but with no way back to C2, make a back up).
Hello :)
I use Construct 3 now - totally happy with it.
Thank you :)
Hope you will do well
Cloaking looks awesome - it caught my eye :)
Just getting back to you to say thank you - those formulas work perfectly :)
I'll stay tuned for you next posts, totally.
Hello fellow C2 developer!
I stumbled across your game at construct 2 listed games here on IndieDB. Looks promising. Keep on posting - people read a lot here, but rarely comment :)
Can you please tell me how you did orbiting orbs? Hotspot+rotate or some plug-in?
Thanks in advance!
Sure way, here you go!
