I know, I plan to recut the Prophecy trailer into an intro that says the gate they constructed was a combined empire effort to make a second EVE gate. After the Amarr attack out of ideological reasons (no Earth until reclaiming here is finished) the fragile alliance between the other 3 falls apart and it's a free for all to get through the gate first as everyone in the immediate area was wiped out by the EMP pulse :).
Not as such. Things like the texture masks, normal maps, ships with turrets modelled are all ready in a "raw" format. Every engine has a favoured format and unique method of combining all the assets into a working object. Once I work out how to get one ship in I can repeat it easily for all of them.

No combat :(. Also looked at I-NOVAE (vapourware) and Space Engineers. SE would mean replacing the USP of a 1:1 planet with real-time ship destruction but it's also voxel only and has serious performance issues. Looking into TitanIM at the moment.

Yep. There's no particle effects implemented yet so engine trails and warp effects aren't done yet.
Only if CCP update the Apocalypse hull, giving us a new ship model. Otherwise there are already so many ships for each faction that Tech 2 ships would just be needless padding. They also wouldn't have any special abilities implemented, just the raw firepower.
Hi, thanks for your interest. In EVE all ships have station keeping thrusters that hold them in place. For the flight model I've programmed them to fire anytime there is unwanted movement off the longitudinal axis. In fast ships if you make a hard turn you will still keep your forward momentum until the comparatively weaker thrusters correct your movement.
Actually that's a good point. I wasn't really thinking when I posed them for the pic. None of the Caldari battleships have acceleration high enough to escape gravity.

Hi, I downloaded v170 but it seems to be having more bugs than v158. After ejecting a magazine or not releasing the slide lock I can fire an infinite number of "blanks" with a corrupt sound. The iron sights view also keeps being set too far left or right when in an MP game, but is centered normally when in the Range level.
The Excelsior is older than the Ambassador, which at least had the modern phaser strips and was still used by Admirals in TNG.

Was disappointed to read that now you're just porting models from Bridge Commander instead of putting the effort in to make models tailored for this engine.
