No, not yet, but we will look into proper official Linux support in the future. However, because we are using Unity, the game runs just fine on Linux anyway.
Our Linux testers have said that they never had any problems with it.

Hey! We actually played Holdfast and absolutely despise its melee system. It is really clunky and feels not very responsive. Even in its current stage, BCoFs Melee system is A LOT more responsive. And due to us spending alot of time on custom solutions, we are actually able to change ANY of the parameters in less than 15 minutes. So we can easily tweak all of the settings while testing the game with other players and we can get feedback on the changes just 20 minutes later.
It feels a lot more like Napoleonic Wars melee system than it does like Holdfasts.

It will be in different steps. 7 to be exact. Each step can be canceled and returned to at a later stage.
We are also planning to introduce a quick loading system which makes it possible to load the musket in a shorter time.
We do not want a too complicated damage system. We think that it might slow down gameplay and eliminated the usefullness of lines, as keeping up with a line will be very hard when hit in the leg.
Damage will be calculated depending on the speed the bullet travels upon impact, the clothes the player is wearing, where it hits and what bullet is hitting him.
We are planning a feature for bleeding out and bandaging yourself.
