I have no clue why you did this, but I am certainly glad that you did.

I had similar thoughts. The game is fun, but a lot of stuff is just dumped on you at the beginning. It's a bit jarring.

I don't own FUEL, but I might get it just because of this mod. I've been keeping my eye on it for a while now, and you have serious dedication I've rarely seen before. Congrats on the mod.

Just loaded up with Hotfix 3. Seems to be doing the job for me. Kicked textures up to the highest you can on DX9 with prefetch disabled, and it's not crashing.

I'd imagine it removes a lot of the HD Textures. Though I think that this would only be necessary until the possible driver fix is released, as the mod seems to fun fine on similar systems with different video cards.

It loads fine now, but whenever I'm outdoors and try to bring up the menu or quicksave, the game does a CTD. Anybody have any ideas?

How does one disable prefetching?

My CPU is fine. My GPU is fine too. It has a gigabyte of memory. I think this mod is pushing the memory limit though.

Well I waited about ten minutes and it loaded, but now it looks worse than it did before I put the mod on. Is there anything that can be done about it?

I turned off DX11 and lowered the Texture settings to the minimum, but the game still crashes when starting a new game. It just locks up. Advice anybody?

He said he was HOPING to release today. If it's not ready until later this week, that's fine.

That's pretty sweet, considering that there are only three levels (a few more if you count smaller ones like the Pripyat Tunnels), though they do all have a lot more than the ones in the previous games. Can't wait to see what you guys made.

Well Dear Esther was a worthy choice by the editors to beat out this mod, though they are entirely different. I am pretty confident that CoF will win the player's choice however.

Either way, I've been watching this mod for 2 years now and am still just as excited for it. It looks to be quality stuff.
