Reminded me of Tianjin.
It annihilating their food reserves is brutal. Then again I read reports that they were lucky with the explosion going upwards instead of sideways. In the past explosions of this kind the buildings around it were almost gone because the main force went sideways.
I dunno about the accident part, we'll see. Its a very hot region currently. Israel is going at it in Syria again. Egypt about to go to war with Turkey in Libya.
Also, it takes a special kind of stupid to store such explosive chemicals next to the main grain storage...
The revolution in Egypt happened mostly because the prices for food multiplied by 10. Imagine bread and oil costing 10 times more. Apparently in Lebanon these prices have multiplied by 5 already. Every revolt has only made things worse so...

I posted this to show what happened, it been news about it everywhere and this video explains some of what happened. I've never seen anything like this before and I just hope those close the explosion survived.
Yeah, the prices for food there are unbelievable, almost feel like you are paying gold and diamonds for a bag of food.
