I was playing on extra crispy difficulty and got up to the entrance of the funeral home when I blew myself up, with a misthrow of dynamite, now when I restart only one zombie spawns and I am unable to open the gates to proceed, some sort of script issue no doubt. Other than that for pre-alpha, you have done a great job, look forward to more.

Brilliant mod even if it was short, i saw it as a demo of the potential of the source engine that people keep putting down and saying is too old. Great textures, interesting gameplay, this mod felt so polished it could be comercial game fantastic work 10/10.

Got the same problem, error comes up with client.dll tried replacing the client.dll and changing appid to 215 nothing works too bad was enjoying the mod too.

Yep it's a virus, why is this still available.

Fantastic mod really impressed, never cease to amaze me the talent of the modding community enjoyed it very much.

The difficulty of it is what HL2 should have been in the first place, i found myself really having to think out tactics and using cover a lot.
John was a great companion really felt like one not just someone following around for the hell of it.
Was amazed how good the voice acting was a lot better then in most AAA titles i have played. Got to say this is one of if not the best mod for any game i have ever played, unlike some mods it kept me wanting to go on pulling me into it rather then just running and gunning game over type of mods. Well done to all the team you created a real gem here 10/10 now to play Rogue Train.

Ps. loved the music at the end made me laugh "Oh ****! critters! What the hell!" loved it ;)

Everything you said is correct beside people having the right to complain, no they don't. You said yourself he is not being paid for it, so it is a privilege that we get to play and if we don't get to then thats just life we have no right at all to complain.

Lol some people on this site never cease to amaze me, don't matter what game the mods are for or what year/month i check the site there is always a bunch of people crying if a mod is not active or released in the time frame they want. And then have the nerve to speak down on the person contributing to the community yet if any of the whiners attempt to make a mod it is just ripped from somebody's hard work. Patience is definitely not their strong point.

@yas Same here done the og loc mission so many times now i have lost count. Only way to skip mission is to not play this mod unfortunately as the mission skipper mod replaces main.scm and script.img ;/ and save game from the vanilla version crashes if you load while using this mod really no way around it would seem.

Well i got to say if people found it boring or too simple then it's not the mod for them, they obviously want to shoot something.
I quite liked it, reminded me of them good ol adventure games was unique the only thing i found slightly annoying was the text on the screen disapearing too quick maybe i am a slow reader i dunno.
Otherwise i liked it and hope to see more don't take the negitive comments too hard you can't please everyone in this world.
