the bridge on level 2 didnt raise
so when I got back there I made a save before the tunnel and the bridge failed to rise again. But after loading the save it raised, and never failed on reload.

Playing with the bots feels a bit like having real npc marines, but I dont know if you can increase maxplayers in coop for more bots.
if the mods get ported to remastered, you can start a coop server and add 3 bots
use "+save_history_count 10" in your launch command line as a workaround for the save corruption bug

If someone gets weird glitches in episode 5, like heads of soldiers disappearing, invisible enemies and random crashes.
Try putting all your advanced video settings to lowest or off, including windows aero extensions, and restart.
Then put everything back to what you want and restart.
I dont know what exactly fixes it by doing that, but it worked for both me and my friends.

have you thought of making so items swaps between q3 and uber rena items? So the original q3 maps and custom maps have weapon pouches and the nice stuff.
The Alternate Fire mod swaps the items after being picked up.
I think both.
Auto firing while being mobile in primary mode is nice, but I also used to put them in secondary mode in defensive positions to start shooting at approaching enemies while I was doing something else.
My friend didnt like the auto targeting in V3, not because of accidental friendly fire, but he said it made the artillery less micromanagement, more casual and easier.
