OK, thanks for the honest accessment! Wrestling with the pain in the *** U.I. was one of the main reasons I stopped playing the Dominions 2 and 3 even though they are otherwise good games.

The U.I. for this any better than previous games? What sets this apart from previous ones? I love the game and have played Dominions 2 and 3 but the U.I. from those was one of the worst I've ever seen.

The interactive trailer for "Enemy Unknown" is actually much better at conveying the general feel of combat than the demo oddly enough. Honestly, the demo was very poorly thought out but the game still looks to be very good though they might have dumbed it down a bit too much. If so, mods and the like will hopefully correct that. This is Firaxis after all.
