There are some links to stuff in the blog, but much of it was just trial and error, trying to figure out the best way to make things.

Glad you like it :D There's still LOTS of work to be done. This is the very early stages.
We are planning on having NPC's and settlement development, otherwise these large planets will be quite boring!
It was supposed to be included with the download, but something seems to have gone wrong. This one doesn't work for you? Make sure you are selecting the x86 version: Microsoft.com
As long as it supports OpenGL 3.2 then yes. You may have to update your drivers.
We have plans to do a mac port eventually yes.
Yes that is the point of the demo, voxels are disabled. If you want to play with voxels you will have to download the 0.1.6 version.
There should be a vcredist_x86.exe with the download that will install the redistributable for you. Otherwise you may have to manually download the Visual C++ 2013 redistributable from microsoft.
Thank you! We really excited about the work Andreas has done so far for the models. Can't wait to show you guys some more!
Haha, the models are thanks to our awesome 3D Artist (Andreas)! We're really happy with the work he's done, and they'll soon be in-game. :D
Thanks for the report! We are in the process of working on some huge changes to the engine, hopefully the next version will run better for you!
The issue with multiple contexts seems to have persisted even with GLEW_MX. 0.1.6 will fix this issue since I am getting rid of multiple contexts all together. Thank you for your patience!
Wooo! I am glad it is better for you! There are still many bugs to fix :)
Hmm its possible. There were a lot of bugs in 0.1.4 that have been fixed in 0.1.5. I am pretty sure your world file was corrupted. New worlds in 0.1.5 should not get corrupted, sorry about that!
Give 0.1.5 a try, it might fix the issue!
The new multithreading code seems to be causing a lot of issues on many machines, you will have to be patient until I can fix these bugs sorry :/
Thanks for the bug report! I am looking into it!
Sorry about that, next build will fix this bug!
Hey this is a new bug with the build. It is caused by every chunk using twice the VRAM for its mesh! I have fixed it and the next build will have the fix. For now if you reduce the render distance you should be fine!
Hey sorry for the long delay! Just run the xcredistx86.exe in the same folder as SOA.exe and it will install the missing DLL!
Is your OS winXP? I don't think the game works on winXP.
I am afraid the lowest I can make the version go is 3.0, so you will not be able to run SoA until you update your drivers or get a new graphics card. If you are on an intel integrated graphics card, chances are a driver update wont fix your problem :(
If you have 2 graphics cards, an integrated and a non integrated, chances are it is using your integrated by default. Switching it to use your main graphics card will fix the problem in that case.
Eventually there will be mac support. Linux support isn't technically confirmed for now but I don't see why we wont have it!
What version are you running? I might be able to lower it from 3.3 it just depends.
Thanks weasel I am glad I can keep you entertained!

Hey everyone! Here's a little about me. I am currently a sophomore of computer science at UTK, and I have been working on my game Seed of Andromeda for a little less than a year now. I have no plans on stopping! I have made various other 2d games before SOA but have never finished them or released them to the public. I've been programming for almost three years now, and get better every day! Also I like to play drums and rock climb. Yep that's about it.
