Hey Damian,

Been busy with some complications (visa stuff, I have to quickly find a dev job or go to school or else I'll have to leave the country), so I'm trying to manage all of this stuff, I'm planning on writing up a blog post talking about the situation and what we'll be doing in the months to come.

The Labyrinth will definitely feel like a dungeon crawling experience in a sense, however, in the open-world it'll feel a little more like Skyrim/Dark Souls, where you can explore and complete quests, level up and gain more gear with the additions of some PvP, etc.

We still have a lot more to experiment with in the final game, so some things may change overtime!

Oh I understand your question!

This is currently in our backlog once we start getting into full swing, we think a smart AI that acts like players would be a great way to add more life to the game. Potentially giving the feel of an MMO rather than small multiplayer servers; also adding onto the dangers of being in the wilderness in the game, we could have a percentage chance that those AI players may go red (or rogue essentially, becoming PKers).

Yes! The only playable race at the moment that is planned are Humans.

Hey Bellis,

You probably won't be able to mod in your own weapons until we get the Workshop going (if we do, which we definitely do want to), the server owner would have to import those weapons in however. :)

Hey Cool12!

Definitely will be trying to go on our own path in terms of mechanics, but there will be some similarities. Our focus for Blades of Orterra will be on immersion, which was obviously a focus for 'Sword Art Online'.

Totally agree, that's why our Player Customization that was shown in the newest pre-alpha version is only setup but not functional. It probably won't be functional until we're doing with a ton of things like Combat. :)

In due time haha. I haven't been focusing too much on multiplayer just yet but that'll be coming soon. A lot of stuff is mostly starting out but there will be a chat system, etc.

Voice chat is definitely a possibility but I'll have to look into it.
