Not sure yet, DragonShiX - I'm doing what I can while holding a full time job and no funding for assets. I've been working on this for almost three years now so I'm not quitting anytime soon :) I'm glad you like it so far!
Thanks for the comment, Sam! The newest demo on here is a pretty old one - I've done quite a bit of work since then but I won't be putting newer builds on here anymore. I'm still working to get this game finished though ;)
I'll mess around with it and see how it feels. I think the zoom would be more subtle and not like the "level up" zoom (or what's shown here even). I might even change zoom pending on the area (like most games).
Thanks for the feedback - the camera is completely manual right now but I was thinking about making it zoom in when you get close to an enemy.. as in scaling in correlation to the distance of the closest enemy.
It probably wouldn't zoom in this quick - probably a smoother transition.

I'm glad you enjoyed booting it back up! I'm going to add in a "hotfix" to this demo soon that reworks collision and adds a few more things.
You aren't the only one who was wondering what was behind that start room - maybe it will be available in the future?
This demo was just to mainly work on my level design and the actual game will be a completely different environment.
As far as the pyres and the dark flame goes - that's an interesting theory :P
I'm glad you like it! I've had a few people tell me that they weren't a fan of it - so I found a way around it that (I think) feels good :)
Basically, the enemy weapon wont hurt you until it's bright (when the enemy is attacking). You can still take collision damage from the enemy themselves though!
I actually made the background much darker for the dialogue box.
So whenever you died, it revives you off the map? Did you quit the game when you died? Also, what room do you revive at?

Ah, sorry.. I need to make more enemies/items/etc before I make the game any longer. If I extended it, you'd just be seeing the same assets over and over. I wouldn't want the game to get redundant! This is my last preAlpha demo that I'm releasing until I release the final game ;)
Interesting... thanks for the heads up - is it possible that you were running something else at the time of playing the game? Also, does it do that every time you try to play it? There's no reason it should use up 100% of your processor like that.
What do you mean? Nothing happens? Did you hit 'S' on the Keyboard or 'A' or 'X' on the Xbox/PS controllers respectively?
If anybody could help me with debugging this (French computer) - I would greatly appreciate it!
Hi Everybody, I've noticed the game crashes in random rooms on French computers. I'm going to be working a fix for that as soon as possible - if you are a French YouTuber or Streamer, please keep that in mind!
