You should not be playing in Tier 4 rounds if your level 74, perhaps try moving up to tier 6 or 7 maybe even T8

The building items are brought with RC that you earn from playing the game, if you are a premium user you get 100% extra RC and Tech tokens (used to unlock new items) none premium users and premium get an extra 5% RC and Tech tokens for every premium users in a per game round.

I am level 100 (level Cap) and tier TX-1 (Max Tier) in about 2 and a half weeks of game play using premium, and its never lost its fun along the way. Sure you can get frustrated from time to time by lack of team work from your team or from afk'ers who leave your team short handed but you expect that in any game and to be honest a little frustration here and there is good in a game or its boring fast if its easy mode all the way.
