Any news on this mod? Haven't seen anything new recently.

Some suggestions: Make Beastmen a playable race (even if they don't have any holdings, ya know)

Also, increase the amount of recruited mercs. It's annoying getting like 4 Beastmen lol.

How is he "throwing out uses" if what you want wouldn't make sense lore wise? Geeze.

I don't recommend it; not a very good Source mod. It's very, very uninspired and, well frankly, boring. The "action" part consists of fighting off a couple zombies at a time with no effort, or the generic "human-enemies-in-apocalyptic-scenario". The "platforming/puzzle" part consists of...a couple jumps? Pressing "E" on a wire and moving in back in place?

Honestly, I think this is hugely over-rated. Combine that with the un-called for Half Life 2 models used and well...you get the point. Very generic mod, I honestly have no idea why people are excited about it lol.

Yeah, and the COD models? Was COD shut down, too? haha

Haha yeah, so the AAA game devs gave permission for a mod developer to rip their work straight out of their game and use them...

Is it even legal for you to steal all these firearm models from different games?

The name of this mod caught my attention, then I started reading your summary and looking at the pictures and it hit me that literately all you're doing is giving troops new gear (most likely making them OP) and making personal changes like giving Nords horsemen, if I saw correctly.

Why the hell would an inexperienced crossbowman upgrade to a...maceman? And then the maceman...to...a...medic...

I think this mod is dead, no responses from devs here or on their forums.

I'm happy with the winners! I haven't played all of the mods on the list, but from what I've seen of each of them they are all deserving of their spot and nomination.

What are the chances of you making a version of this mod that installs like a normal mod? It seems it would be a lot more simpler, especially for us having problems just getting the mod to run after following all instructions to a T.

It also says, "DETECTED CORE GAME FILES" so I cant imagine it's a problem with my set game directory.

Could it possibly be a system problem? I'm running Windows 7 64x

It's all typed correctly, when I use the option in the launcher to see the game directory it takes me to the right place.

Like, it doesn't even show a process (game.dat or lotr.exe) running after I start the mod, like literately nothing happens after I launch the game and the launcher closes.

And, "Play game without mod" even works from the launcher.

The mod wont run. I have the full, first download and both of the patches in the "My Battle for Middle-earth files" directory, I used the .bat launcher to set my game directory to "C:/Games/Battle For Middle Earth" but every time I launch...it doesn't do anything...

I don't understand why you guys sell your games when they aren't even full products yet. Why in the world would you /sell/ a game that's in ALPHA? /Alpha/?

It's a demo. You're literately selling a demo.

Don't you want as many people as possible to play-test it? Don't you want as much feedback as possible?

When devs sell their games that are still in alpha/beta, it gives off a big ole' warning bell that you guys are just trying to make a quick buck.

That probably sounded very hostile of me, but rest assure that I mean that in a purely curious way. It just seems like people don't come to ModDB to look for games to purchase. Wouldn't something like this get more "attention" on IndieDB?

Shouldn't this be on IndieDB? This obviously isn't a mod. Furthermore you're selling it...on a /mod/ site...I don't understand.

Awesome work on this one, cept' for the color scheme of the soldiers. The tan doesn't really go well with the green of the Mongoose. Maybe give them a green or grey uniform. Just my opinion, though!

This Warthog is awesome as ****. I love the texture; it has a gritty, well used "war machine" look to it. Keep up the good work! You guys are doing an amazing job.
