You cannot choose weapons before a spawn (yet?). You have to pick it off the ground, either looting a dead guy or smashing a crate. You will respawn with the same weapon you picked up after death.

servers are a little desolate on weekdays but on the weekends you can find four or five people on a server. Multiplayer sessions are just made to get a bunch of players toghether at the same time. You can also check on the IRC channel, someone might be willing to play mp :)

So far, only the player can drive vehicles with the option of fellow soldiers riding in the back. But I think pasik is working on that right now. We might see it in the next update.

Hi, I've just got the game up and running on my comp. Everything works fine, except for the fact that i can't see any of my units, or the enemy's. I can still select them and give them orders, and i see small round shadows where the unit should be. any one have a solution to this problem?

This game is great because of all the different game genres it combines. I have one questions though, When i purchase (or alphafund?) Stardrive on Desura right now, does doing that pre-order the full game for me? or do i just get the alpha until closed beta comes out?

awesome. I think I see some sort of secondary weapon below his backpack. It would be great is your units could switch weapons. that way anti-air guys wouldn't be useless in a firefight.
