Blender is probably one of the best open source 3D programs you can get
This seems like a great idea. I learned Blender from online tutorials and some help from friends, and I'd like to see more people turned toward this awesome software.
I'm going to start doing tutorials for Blender and other software. If you have any requests on tutorials you'd like to see regarding character modeling, character concepting, general 3d modeling, lighting, rendering or anything else you can think of check out my profile page and comment on my recent blog post. I'll do my best to get to requests as quickly as possible.
