X Caeli is Space Invaders gameplay meets Tyrian/Jets n' Guns-style gunshop, with the latter actually evolving into a full-pledged RPG system. It's centered around being hardcore, having diverse yet well-balanced equipment and providing a lot of combos and synergies to discover. The gameplay, in the end, turned out to be not very shmup-like, feeling more like an Arcade-RPG-Puzzle hybrid. A large public alpha demo is available.
Description
