Warlock's Arena Windows game

Used to play this all the time and I wanted a simple project to see how the new Unity networking works. And this was born!

The Networking UI is very rough but still usable. Here's how you make games!

Playing LAN games

In the top left corner you will see LAN Host. This does exactly what you expect, creates the game for lan. Other players on your LAN will then click LAN Client to join. And done!

Playing Online

To play online you need to click Enable Match Making. This will then change the window and you can see a list of all current games being played at the top left and a box appears for you to type your own room name. To start an online game, choose a room name and click Create Internet Match. And done!

How to play!

Each Warlock has 4 spells mapped to QWER. They are all 'smart casted' to your mouse pointer.

Before joining a game, choose your name and colour.

Once playing, use right click to move and QWER to cast spells.

Each spell has a cooldown and a manacost. There is no way to regain HP and mana regen is very slow. Use the mana aura in the center of the map to regenerate mana much quicker.

Fireballs and grenades do huge knockback so its much faster to kill by knocking in the lava than by damage.

Standing in lava will deal considerable damage over time.
