We've been discussing an contemplating an idea to allow a creative / pen and paper style RPG component into Wander. The idea is: in the shelters there would be a book where people could write a quest, which other players could then try and complete. The quests would be just text, and completing would just be that you knew you'd done it. The quests could involve parts of a story that you have to find at different shelters. People could also post ideas for quest to the forums. Do you think this is worth trying / implementing? Does anyone want to suggest a few quests for the book? |

I like this idea. Multi-player interaction is a real plus in a game. I don't know if we will have possessions or find things, if so we can leave things for others to find - geocache style? Otherwise could we write in a book to confirm we have completed a quest before adding the next bit ourselves. Write a story as we go? |

Considering we can almost get lost just trying to navigate thru the woods with our own avatars what about some type of game of tag or hide-n-seek? |

This is a fun idea! Just as long as they are not on a time limit. Since this is such a vast area to search in, would be a little easier if stated flying: Find the alphabet etched in the mountains; swim: clean up the ocean by finding 10 pieces of paper; land: find 5 blue flowers on the island shaped like a gator (you can change it up...looks like a gator head to me...lol); find 10 accessories you get to keep, when the quest is completed. Anyways, just a few thoughts. |
