Twokinds Online is an online RPG based off of the webcomic Twokinds. Welcome to the world of Mekkan, an open world with a skill based system without class that lets you do many things in the world. You can explore, fight, or take up city life and become a politician, shop keeper, town guard, crafter, cook and anything else based on how you want to play your character. Life if short on Mekkan so when you die, your children continue on for you, inheriting your skills but have to grow from level one.

Welcome to Mekkan. Many have come before you and many will come after. You are no one special in this world. If you think you are, you must prove it. Learn a variety of skills ranging from magic, combat, and life skills. Explore the world or settle down in a town a buy some property or get involved politically and become the next great governor or even king of the land. Be careful though, because death is permanent. Your legacy will live on through your children who inherit your skills.

Twokinds Online is going to be a large game. I have many things planned for it and I am hoping my skills are up for it.

Features
20 Km x 20 Km World (Mostly empty or water)
Open PVP - Every Npc and player is attackable although it is not advised. Town guards do not take lightly to assaulting towns people.
Semi-Permadeath - When you die, you can make a new character but keep your skills.
New "Son or Daughter" after each death.
Skill-based, no classes
Characters can be left or right handed
Fully Authoritative Server

Every Building Ownable
Politics - You can become mayor of a town all the way up the King of the land. Careful with your reign because someone may pay to assassinate you.
Ships and sailing
Nearly everything craftable
Shops are to be stocked by players

Keep 3 or so items at death (Still thinking about this)
Special family heirlooms - Keep an item long enough and they become special - Family Heirloom

-Bounties
Player can become wanted by doing illegal stuff in town (assault, murder, etc). Others can hunt the player down and collect the bounty. Bounties can be redeemed in town. Full value with live capture. Percentage of bounty gained based on charisma

Each race can speak their own language if wanted too
Other races have linguists to translate and spy
