Takes the first game's beloved triad - the powerful knight, the swift rogue, and the crafty wizard - and puts them into an all-new adventure filled with more action, more puzzles, and the introduction of online support for the series's popular cooperative 3-person gameplay.

Following Trine, the artifact of souls calls the heroes once again.
Enjoy Trine 2 and many other great games on Desura.

Hey Joe! Great to see you actually watch here. Anyhow, the page says it's a beta version. Is that still true? I don't have a problem with it. I'm just curious.
Runs beautifully on Linux Mint Debian Edition 64 bit as long as you install the OpenGL 32 bit drivers from repository. 360 controller works flawlessly, beautiful piece of work this.
Are there any updates to the Linux version yet? I have v1.14...
No updates yet, we have a bigger one coming in late June. If you have any problems then we may have some solutions/temp fixes on our forums at Frozenbyte.com
Will the bigger one have online?
Yes. :) That's why it takes so long (we need to sync all platforms etc, it's a lot of work and right now we have some other stuff going on as well).
You all are making a wonderful work.
I eager to buy the "AAAA" expansion!
It shows "Platforms: Windows, Mac, Linux" and a Windows version if found if I search for Trine 2 with the platform filter set to Windows-only. Is there a Windows version of Trine 2 on Desura now or not? (Whether with- or without DRM doesn't matter to me). If not you might want to correct the product page.
Yeah this is a bit of an anomaly due to our complex platform issues. I think Desura only wants DRM-free versions, and we don't yet have Windows DRM-free, so hence the game is not here or anywhere but Steam. That said, we will release the DRM free version soon-ish, i.e. in the summer I imagine, so that will then finally put this to rest. So right now you can only play on Linux or Mac. However, if you've bought the game and want to play on Windows, please get in touch and we can sort that out (sorry for the trouble).
just bought this on linux :) one less use of my windows partition
