Hey all, I'm the developer of Through Time, keeping you updated on the progress of this game.
So the title states graphical overhaul? I barely have the first room done how can the game need graphical improvements already?!
Well its more of a resolution improvement, basically I designed the first room using one mesh for the walls. Big mistake... the resolution was dire! So I have gone back and used planes for the walls with a nice seamless tileable texture.
Applying my new found knowledge I designed the second rooms walls with tileable textures aswell.
I recently got a new asset called Sound Manager Pro, it manages music transitions and the SFX assets increasing the overall performance and giving me some easy new tools.
The second room is in an alpha state meaning my games main mechanic is working! The room is a hallway which gets hit by a large earthquake causing all platforms to fall including the player. The player then uses his slow time to make everything in the room slow down allowing the player to climb back up.
It feels very awesome, there's also some nice SFX and pitch changes going on.
