coming in 0.8.6
The AI will now attempt to convert enemy buildings of his race and use them appropriately, as requested by the fans.
It's glad to hear about this upcomming improvement of AIs. However in protectors 0.8.5 I noticed that AIs continue attacking mines even if their allies are trying to convert them. I believe that it is a bug which has to be fixed (because they destroy mines before their ally ends conversion. In this way they reduce their team's overall income and waste units' time when they could be more useful elsewhere).
By the way, allied AIs could give some resources to each other, especially if one of them lacks certain resource type and other ally has plenty of it, and use this to the max.
Also ais should be improved that they could distinct whether other allied unit will convert target faster and do not send unit with conversion ability there if that unit won't convert quicker and could be used better elsewhere (distance and conversion times should be evaluated when evaluating which unit would convert faster). PS:I believe that this would make game more fair for Ais as experienced human players do it (although we do not calculate it as computer would, but we manage to evaluate using distance which we see when looking in a map).
The issue about AI's attacking mines while they are being converted has either already been fixed or has been greatly improved.
The last stage that had to be fixed was allied AI's attacking a mine while a different AI was converting it. I don't recall if that was fixed or if that is still the last part of it to be fully fixed.
Noted. Making AI react to it's allies, as well as ally interactions in general (AI or human) is something we will be focusing on in the future.
