A FPS having you travel between a forest simulation and an abandoned base; relying on the skills of an intelligent orb-looking companion at your side The Legacy is a first-person game that will have you travelling alternatively between the simulation of an open-world style tropical forest and a seemingly abandoned base of operations while relying on the abilities of an intelligent orb-looking companion at your side. To progress in one phase, you will have to progress in the other and vice versa; the game therefore promises to offer two distinctively different playstyles with one being a challenge based survival theme in a natural setting and the other being a linearly progressed story phase that is more slow paced (to a certain point!) with collectables and puzzles.

The Logbook!

As we've said, you have no UI elements in The Legacy. For this reason, whatever discovery you make, you would be better off taking a note in your logbook. This includes places you've discovered, things about the game you've discovered, recipes you've discovered, interesting things you've found, landmarks you've used for finding your way around etc.

This logbook will be crafted with some leaves and vines, and to write in it you're going to have to burn some wood and use the charcoal from it (not that realistic yep, still it's the most realistic approach we could think of).

The model is already ready, the overlay of its script is ready as well yet actual scripting of it will begin as soon as the crafting system is completed.

Will keep you tuned!
