Vancouver, BC, Canada - Super Metroid and Monkey Island inspired episodic game "The Fall" reached its Kickstarter funding goal in just under a week last September, and after being Greenlit on Steam, developer Over The Moon is proud to announce the release date for episode 1 to be May 30th, 2014. Over The Moon's John Warner is excited to see the game's reception.

"I've wanted to make a game like this for as long as I can remember, but I never knew how to make it happen" says John. "Thanks to Kickstarter, we were finally able to not just create The Fall, but to really push it in interesting directions. We've got a really unique story with some engaging ideas, some very compelling gameplay, a beautiful world to explore, and a fantastic cast of professional actors, with a strong female lead. The Fall has become the game I've always wanted to play, but couldn't find."
The Fall features:
- A Unique Story - Play as A.R.I.D, an artificial intelligence onboard an armoured combat suit, attempting to help the human occupant, who is hanging unconscious inside.
- Fresh Gameplay - The Fall finds a smooth way to blend together point and click adventure games, platformers, and shooters to make a compelling experience that's centred around environment exploration.
- Rich Atmosphere - The Fall is set in a rich, detailed world, rendered with care in an art style inspired by the classic, LIMBO.
