Fight the ghosts through 50 waves of growing danger. Play as a powerful wizard, a mighty warrior or a strategic builder to stop the ghost invasion. Evolve your character in the direction you want. Survive until dawn, or die trying. NOTE: This game is played using Xbox360 controllers. However, one player can use the keyboard and mouse to play.
I submitted The Defenders to Greenlight today, the submission can be found at: Steamcommunity.com . Feel free to support the game by giving it a "Yes" vote there! Hopefully enough people will find the game interesting, and hopefully new people will find the game.
I do have to agree with it being unbalanced. The picture of lazy *** builder is completely correct because he is about to die.
looks most exciting!
futury is steam version?
If there is enough interest for the game, I would hope so =)
Currently trying to get the game accepted through Greenlight: Steamcommunity.com
i own this game (and have beaten it on all difficulties) on the 360 and what i have to say warrior's abilites are so insane especially when you have two or more people back to back you can simply demolish everything that comes to you the mage lightning crabs and fairies ftw and the builder well dont be him he doesnt win even when you have an epic castle of epicness, other than the unbalanced-ness of the characters its a very fun game and id reccomend you try it!
I'm glad you liked it =). Yeah, it was really difficult to balance this game, especially the multiplayer part. If you have good teamwork it's a lot easier multiplayer, but in general people don't work that well together :P
game looks like terraria but its nice with the bosses and the way you can customise your characters
Hehe, heard that one before, guess it's because of the eye boss :). Also, earlier iterations of this game was released before Terraria, so it's Terraria which looks like The Defenders :P
See? its about time someone set the record straight! People are always saying "Terraria copied Minecraft, then Darkout and Edge of Space and ****** copied Terraria!!1!" See, in fact Terraria copied The Defenders, and all those other guys who "copied" Terraia in turn are aping YOUR stuff! I hope I just successfully made you feel ten feet tall, M'friend. You Are LEGEND!! =P
Well, my point was more that most stuff is inspired by something else. Take the eye monster for example, most likely inspired by DnD beholders. I'm not saying we should go copy each others stuff, just saying there are few games which contains something completely unique. The "X copied Y!" is kind of silly... unless it's an actual clone... then shame on you!
Well said, M'friend!
