Just finished the game this morning after trying to do my best possible playthrough in the game. I will go over what I actually did in brief bullet points.

- End-game goal: Love

- Number of survivors gathered: 27/28 (28 on the "Killed FEMA" save file. Took a FEMA soldier as a follower. Took at least five gang members as part of my community)

- Em Arcine in Inner Circle

- Ended up killing Tom and Butch after being promised I would get insulin. Number of insulin vials left by end-game was 10, which I did not want to chance with the given medical recovery time from injuries (always had Alice maxed out in first aid with a couple medical text books treating injuries, or Juanita if Alice is sleeping from farming duties, or Sarah Slaughter on emergency first-aid duty).

- Supported Bud Anderson and took the back door route into the Los Ceros camp.

- Completely decimated Los Ceros after dealing with the Lou Fairbanks situation. Got too attached to Elfego, not to mention there were only ten survivors available from Los Ceros. Sacrificing an ex National Guard soldier for ten "okay" survivors didn't feel right for me, especially with Felipe Espinoza's track record both from a story and gameplay perspective. Luckily, because of my slaughterfest, I saved Santa Magdalena.

- Ran negotiations between the McCoys and Fat Neills first after doing "Tit for Tat." After negotiations were over, I completed the burning down of both the barn and the watchtower to secure the insulin.

- For the most part, I made sure only three casualties happened in my playthrough. I sacrificed two of the captured gang members while doing the El Dorado side missions. Recruited Kate Barlow and purposely allowed her to die by infected just for payback. Also made it a personal business to completely disarm Kit Wakeman before entering his base.

- Besides the people that were allowed to be recruitable in the "survivors" topic, I ended up recruiting Connie Reed, Bat Jacobs (both serving as base guards), and Jim Gallager.

- Overall farming: Had over 350+ corns planted for the sake of keeping food readily available. People on farming duty were Alice, Nat Allison, Ed Hutchinson, Augustine Franklin, Juanita Baca, and Jim Gallager. Cumulatively, at least a thousand ears of corns were spread out throughout my camp's barn structures.

- Consistent core team: Joe Wheeler, Sarah Slaughter, Lawrence Bradshaw.

- Final assault team: Joe Wheeler, Sarah Slaughter, Lawrence Bradshaw, Elfego Arcine, Cornelius Starr (Wild Graybill family if I remember right), Dan Adams (Gas Station Mafia survivor). Joe on pistol and RPG duty, Bradhaw as a sniper, Elfego as a shotgunner and back-up RPG gunner, Adams as shotgunners, Slaughter and Starr as riflemen.

"Killed FEMA" path:

- Picked the "stop these experiments or die" option so I would minimize the reputation damage I would have taken from the whole "Joe Wheeler instigated zombie apocalypse" revelation. Bradshaw sniped everyone, while Wheeler and Effego killed at least five troops with RPGs.

- Ended up confiding with Isham or Sarah Slaughter about going after Alice just to check for differences in dialogue.

"Minimal FEMA casualties" path:

- Two FEMA soldiers were dead by the time I got to Clara Allison. Allowed the rep plunge this time around, and told her to keep away from my group. After dumping some horded gifts to Elfego, I decided to confide in him, and found out he's willing to "tag along" for that reunion with Alice.

What did YOU guys end up doing in YOUR playthrough? Genuinely curious.

@HeadhunTr339: How do I exactly go about posting the save file? I only played the game on the 360.

Well after beeting the game for the second time I must say, I'd rather not ever go the "LOVE" route. Sure it makes some more sence story wise but, the game is much more fun when you dont have to worry about finding the insuline all the time. Being able to kick back and wait for crops to grow, explore, etc. Is all much easier and funner if you just kill Alice off after the tutorial. Plus I noticed that after I beet it the first time going the 100,000 Gold route the game continues after you have won, while if you go the Love route it doesn't continue after you win because Joe leaves.

So in my most humble opinion. If you want to beet the game the easier way so you can keep playing after you win, only now with cheats available, then kill the chick off and pick the Gold route. Then once you have won you can make your people invulnerable, explore the entire map, learn where every item, town and person is located, and then play it agian ,with out cheating if you choose, but this time you will have all the knowledge you need about the game to beet it any way you please.

As for me I'm going to play it agian and this time go the "POWER" route. Might cheat, might not, dont really care about achievements just like to have fun.
