Lol... As the designer of these sounds- thanks to you and everyone else for the positive comments. I'm very glad that people appreciate the work. Stay tuned for more.

Cool sounds, but I think the weapons could use a little more work towards authenticity. Just my opinion. Fantastic work overall :D

Doing my best! Sometimes authenticity is very difficult, and I'll never measure up to the great Ben Burtt. The Snowspeeder guns in particular were very hard to duplicate- I ended up having to just make my own variation of it, otherwise it sounded like poop.

It's really nice to know that you're putting effort in that department, though :) Some devs might just be like, "Meh, this sounds Star Wars-y, let's go with that."

I think Richard has done a great job so far, and believe me we have discussed most of the sounds done. The weapons are very tricky to get to sound authentic, Ben Burt is just a genius when it comes to sound design. I believe that there are some secret tricks he used to get the sounds to sound the way they do.

Ben created much of the laser sounds by attaching a mic to a cable and hitting it with a hammer, then stopping the cables vibration shortly after to prevent reverberation.

Correct. I used a similar technique for these- a steel slinky.
