Here we are demonstrating some WIP audio samples made by Tidor Nieddu for the Victory and Defeat screens that will be shown at the end of battles.
dont really think the choir at the imperial defeat end really fits well, other than that they are great!
assuming you cant use the normal Imperial march for victory because it is overused or a chance at copyright infringement yes?
We can borrow from the Imperial march in themes and such but we don't want to use the exact theme. I actually like the choir a lot, I think it's the best idea! :D
Sounds pretty good, but the instruments still sound a bit fake and MIDI-like (excluding the vocals). I'd personally suggest including a bit of gain and pitch deviation. (Which notation software do you guys use again? I know that Cubase can do the "human playback" sort of thing impressively well.)
I assume you are referring to 'humanisation'. Yeah, a lot has to do with the soundfonts being used as well. The choir for example sounds great at the end but I agree some timbres could be tweak. Thanks for the suggestions!
